Dr Ramirez-Serrano will draw on his work in the Unmanned Vehicles Robotarium Lab where the work focusses on the development of unmanned ground and ariel vehicles that can go into collapsed buildings, earthquake areas, floods and fires to gather information before sending in first responders. Robots can quickly send back information on air quality, the inside of buildings, and talk to those trapped inside.
