Introducing Allan Guo, the national winner of the Community and Civic Engagement category of the 2023 Ingenious+ innovation challenge. His innovation, Inspo: For Caregivers, is a social support app designed to help caregivers find guidance through peer social networking and an integrated marketplace with professionals.
Inspo is an ML-based app that connects caregivers with others who have similar experiences, creating a supportive and empathetic community. Additionally, caregivers can access professional guidance through the app’s marketplace, helping them provide the best possible care for their aging loved ones, including those with neurodegenerative diseases.
Allan’s innovation addresses a significant societal issue and provides much-needed support for caregivers, who often face isolation and burnout. Inspo: For Caregivers has the potential to improve the quality of life for both caregivers and their loved ones.
As a national winner of the Ingenious+ competition, Allan’s innovative and compassionate solution serves as a shining example of how young innovators can make a meaningful impact on their community and beyond.
