Canadian innovators are making important contributions to the healthcare sector, notably through digital solutions which improve access and choice to medical treatments across the country.
The Competition Bureau is committed to advocating for pro-competitive policies in markets that matter to Canadians. In fact, we conducted a digital healthcare market study in 2020 to understand the challenges and opportunities businesses face in this field.
Based on our findings, we made several recommendations to policymakers to foster pro-competitive policies that will encourage innovation and benefit consumers.
