Okanagan Specialty Fruits Inc. (OSF) is a vertically integrated company that holds the patent for the world’s first non-browning apple varieties, developed using cutting-edge biotechnology. The concept of the non-browning apple has been fully proven at OSF and successfully implemented through the commercialization of several Arctic® apple varieties, including Arctic Golden, Arctic Granny, Arctic Fuji, and Arctic Gala.
OSF continues to work on developing fruit varieties with novel traits related to nutritional enhancements, resistance to abiotic stress, and disease resistance.
